One of my favorite jobs I ever had was working at Ben Pao Chinese restaurant in River North Chicago, where RPM Italian is now. I spoke more Spanish than English for two years, made some incredible friends, learned a TON about Asian cooking. The nuance in Szechuan Food is really cool, and doesn’t have to be fiery hot. This sauce is made with a touch of Sambal for a bit of heat, plus szechuan peppercorns for that classic tingly feeling that we think you’ll find fascinating. Organic Veggie Broth, Gluten Free Soy Sauce, a touch of rice vinegar and Shallots ginger and garlic round this delectable dish. If we can’t find snow peas for a different price (the world is crazy right now), we will omit them.
We haven’t been super happy with the quality of steak we’ve been getting lately, but we found a new supplier and have refined our process, so we hope that yall really like how much better it is!
